Care / Issues
Cups
Your stainless steel cups are powder coated, so in an ideal scenario...they are dishwash safe.
Only problem is not everybody has the same dishwasher and settings that we tested our cups with.
Dishwashing the cups can potentially cause the cups to chip, bubble or fade based on the type of soap you use, how hot your water settings are, how close the heating elements are to the cups, etc.
Hand washing the cups is how we recommend cleaning your cups.
Lids + Straws
Our lids are made of incredibly durable plastic and our straws are 100% food-grade silicone.
Both are 100% dishwasher safe on the top rack.
Possible Issues
Make sure to pull both cups, both lids and both straws out of the box.
Inspect everything to make sure there is no damage.
If you do find damage, go to cupkin.com/help and we'll get you taken care of ASAP!
Now flip the cups over. Do you see 1 or 2 small holes?
These are vent holes caused by the melting of the glass beads to create the vacuum-seal.
Don't worry! Water can't get inside because it's sealed by the melted glass.
Your cups are stackable so if you ever get a black ring around one of the cups from stacking, use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser to get rid of the black ring.
