My top 4 parenting hacks / advice
Hack 1
Don’t be afraid to ask for help
Hack 2
Kids love helping- bring them along in the day to day functions of your home

Slow down, get on their level, and look them in the eye when they have something to say

Keep a secret stash of organic lollipops in your purse for hard moments out and about- everyone has a bad day now and then and a treat always helps brighten sour moods!
7 questions about my journey
When did you become a parent?
In 2011 when my daughter Ruby was born!
How was the 1st night home with your first child?
I was delirious, terrified, and so smitten, all at once. I will also never forget that incredible grilled cheese sandwich my husband made me right when we got home!
What is the hardest thing about being a parent?
I think the hardest thing for me is knowing I can’t always make hard or sad things go away for my children.
What is a super power you wish you had?
Never needing sleep- then I would get everything done!
Where is your favorite family vacation spot?
The mountains of Tennessee!
What is your favorite thing to do with your kiddo(s)?
I love rubbing their backs while they fall asleep at night. It’s just the sweetest.
How do you keep yourself sane with the stress of parenthood?
I take regular breaks to just sit alone for a moment, grab some coffee, and think my own thoughts. I also pray and try to laugh as much as possible!
