Life with littles can be hard — and yet, our little ones can bring us so much joy.

Hi there!

Has it been a rough night? A hard day? Or maybe even that dreaded week?

I get it! Life with littles can be hard — and yet, our little ones can bring us so much joy.

From their giggles to their big breakdown emotions, everyday can feel like a blink in time and a century all rolled in one, and I love it.

I'm hearing from my friends and tribe that I'm not alone and I never want somebody to feel isolated from this.

So welcome to being my friend. Welcome to my tribe.

I'm here to say I get it and I hear you too.

And sometimes that's all we need.

My top 4 parenting hacks / advice

Hack 1
Turn any meal time into a picnic. It makes the meal instantly fun!

Hack 2
You know how bubble baths can be so much fun?! Well, switch it up some nights with epsom salt baths! Epsom salts have so many health benefits and my kids love the variety of bath time!

Hack 3
Add sprinkles. We add sprinkles to every single weekend breakfast. Waffles? Add sprinkles. Greek yogurt? Add sprinkles! We have a stash of sprinkles to choose from and it makes every breakfast on the weekend a celebration.

Hack 4
Put a regular diaper over the swim diaper. We use reusable swim diapers, but this works regardless. Instead of fussing with the baby or toddler once you arrive at the pool or local splash pad, dress your kids with their swim diaper under a regular diaper. You can toss them in the car seat without worry of a leak and then they are ready to go once you get to your location!

7 questions about my journey

When did you become a parent?

2016

How was the 1st night home with your first child?

I'm tired just thinking about it.

What is the hardest thing about being a parent?

Patience, especially when there is a tantrum when you are trying to do something fun. When you think you have thought of it all and there is still a melt down that drains the life out of everyone, it is super hard to remain patient.

What is a super power you wish you had?

Reading people's minds.

Where is your favorite family vacation spot?

Disney World!

What is your favorite thing to do with your kiddo(s)?

Crafts, adventures, traveling, backyard hangouts, all of the things!

How do you keep yourself sane with the stress of parenthood?

My husband and I start off each weekend asking one another our priorities for the off days. It helps us set expectations, understand what's important and defines space for one another if needed.
